Terminology

Kinect Martial Arts has its roots in traditional Korean martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do. Because of this, we use Korean terms during practice. We believe that using the Korean terms is not part of Eastern Religion but rather a way to train the mind.

Following are the Korean words we use in class and their English Translations. Every student needs to be familiar with each word.
